The term NAUTICS refers to the art or science of sailing or navigation. Nash Nautics, then, is my personal and imperfect process of ascertaining, at any given point, where I am and where I want to go from there and how. My hope is that the sunbeams I collide into shine their warmth on someone else’s stormy seas. We’re not always all in the same boat, but often, we’re all sailing toward similar truths. And we’re always under the same sun.

A beautiful, powerful, ever-changing beast with an entire world under its surface.
And still,
you and me, we were never meant to feel lost at sea.
Inherently limitless and flowing, we possess the infinite ocean within us.
Rumi said it first:
You are not a drop in the ocean; you are the entire ocean in a drop.
We are beautiful, powerful, ever-changing beings with entire oceans of possibility under our surfaces. Navigating the rough waters and sailing onward with the wind at our backs and the continuous, directed movement of the sea beneath us, holding us up, is what life’s all about.
Rumi, in that same poem, goes on to say:
Seek the path that demands your whole being.
And so here we are.
